Our research team recently published a paper titled "Microfluidic Studies on Minimum Miscibility Pressure for n-Decane and CO2" in the special issue "Optimizing Well Test Operations in Oil and Gas Reservoirs" of the Energies journal. This work describes an advanced method for determining minimum miscibility pressure (MMP), crucial for characterizing gas-liquid systems including the interaction with reservoir fluids. This study extends previous simpler and innovative methodologies for in-situ determination of MMP for injected solvents and oil. Experiments with pure fluids, subsequent modeling, and comparison with literature data validate the proposed method, aiming to speed up lab tests, increase reliability of experimental results, and ultimately improve the quality of field operations in gas-enhanced oil recovery.
